Kasargod: Over 67 students from Navodaya Vidyalaya test positive of H1N1

Kasargod, Feb 24: In a shocking incident, as many as 67 students of Periya Navodaya Vidyalaya tested positive of H1N1 disease.

The blood samples of five students were tested at Manipal hospital. In the test, many students tested positive and have been provided treatment at open wards in schools, said health officials.

During the test, 37 male and 30 female students were discovered to have been suffering with H1N1.

As many as 550 students are studying in the school.

The exact reason for the sudden spread of disease in the campus is yet to be known and all necessary steps will be taken to prevent it further, said health officials.
