Mangaluru, Feb 25: Konkani drama written by Fr Nelson D’Almeida, ‘Avoichi Dook’ was presented on Sunday, February 24 at St Joseph Seminary Ground, Jeppu. Hundreds of spectators watched the drama.
The drama projected the love, sacrifice and pain of a mother. Religious priests and artistes played very impressive roles in the drama.
Fr Joseph Martis, rector, St Joseph Seminary, while addressing the crowd, congratulated Fr Nelson, the writer of drama, for his great effort. He also appealed the crowd to ponder the love and sacrifice made by mothers and give them due respect and dignity.
Fr Clifford Fernandes, parish priest of Jeppu, welcomed the gathering and Fr Nelson D’Almeida, the writer of the drama, introduced the artistes.
Many expressed that the drama gave a powerful message regarding the responsibility of children towards their parents especially mothers.
