'Give peace a chance', pleads Imran Khan after PM Modi's challenge

Islamabad/New Delhi, Feb 25 (DC): Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday asked PM Modi to “give peace a chance” and assured him that he will act immediately if India provides Pakistan with “actionable intelligence” on the Pulwama attack.

This peace appeal came a day after PM Modi threw a challenge to Khan asking him to act honourably by bringing to justice those behind the strike, if he was a “Pathan’s son”.
According to the Dawn, Imran Khan on Sunday said, "Prime Minister Modi should give peace a chance."

PM Modi recalling his conversation wit Imran Khan after he won the Pakistan elections, Modi said he told him "let us fight against poverty and illiteracy" and Khan gave his word - saying he is a "Pathan's son" who spoke and acted in truth.

Pathans is an ethnic group with roots in Iran and are known for their deep sense of honour and self-respect.

A few days back, Khan, in a video message, said that Pakistan has “sincerely offered” probe into the Pulwama “incident” and based on the investigation or “any tangible evidence” provided, Pakistan “shall take action against anyone found using our soil.

India said Khan's offer to investigate the attack if provided proof is a "lame excuse".

"It is a well-known fact that Jaish-e-Mohammed and its leader Masood Azhar are based in Pakistan. These should be sufficient proof for Pakistan to take action," the Ministry of External Affairs said.

What a joke , he is reading out a script written by the army. T he terrorist leader Masood is sitting next to you and claiming responsibility. The Army is sitting next to you and treating the terrorist leader in its hospital. You travel with begging bowl and fund the army. I am not sure what you mean by proof when the guy sitting next to you is saying he did it.

We want to make your country's pieces. If Imran is sincere let him arrest & handover to India Azhar Masood of JeM who has owned the terrorist strike at Pulwama and also seek forgiveness of people of India for all the crimes committed by Pakistan sponsored terrorists..

For God's sake we do not want Azhar masood to be handed over againt to us.
once he comes, then the terror outfits will hijack one more plane and do the same drama and get more terrorists released.
Only if Congress government is ruling, then there is some chance that the situation maybe handled in a better manner than the cow dung cheddies

The whole Kashmir problem is due to the Congress and we all know it. Only problem is , our nation has is 'indians supporting Pak ' on the basis of religion and this was supported by Cong for their vote bank. All the while we had a weak PM and a party that appeased a certain community and turned blind eyes as Pakis infiltrated and settled in Kashmir. Now the situation is different, due to the current govts challenge, Imrans back side is on fire. Economically they are down. His country is isolated. His neighbours like Afghan & Iran want to 'rear end' him.

Incapable of leader always blame others for their failures. BJP is unethical party. For the sake of power, they will go to any extent. Who has aligned with PDP for power in Jammu and Kashmir. Isn't it, BJP? Just before election, BJP has severed the relationship with PDP.

We are living in 2019 not in 1947. In 1948 then the Prime Minister of India, Jawahar Nehru sent Indian army to take Kashmir to Indian soil and because of him, we have got the present Kashmir to India. Who allowed before Kargil war, Pakistan to enter Indian territory. Isn't it, BJP government. If not BOFORS guns, there could have been more casualties with our soldiers. Thanks to BOFOR gun#s.
