Badal congratulates Modi, IAF chief

Chandigarh, Feb 26 (IANS) Former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Tuesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indian Air Force (IAF) Air Marshal B.S. Dhanoa for the "brave and effective air strikes" in Pakistani-administered Kashmir.

Badal hailed Modi and Dhanoa for the "clinical strike, completely paralysing the enemy response".

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief and former Deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal also hailed the IAF strikes.

Twelve days after a suicide bomber killed 40 CRPF troopers, IAF fighter jets on early Tuesday struck the Jaish-e-Mohammed's (JeM) biggest training camp at Balakote, killing a very large number of terrorists and their trainers.
