Bengaluru: CM Kumaraswamy hails IAF for air strike against JeM

Bengaluru, Feb 26 (IANS): Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Tuesday hailed the Indian Air Force (IAF) for carrying out air strikes against Jaish-e-Mohammed's (JeM) training camp at Balakot, reportedly killing a large number of terrorists and their trainers.

"My salute to the Indian Air Force. Jai jawan... Jai Hind #IndiaStrikesBack #IndianAirForce," Kumaraswamy tweeted.

Foreign Secretary Vijay K. Gokhale claimed that the IAF had struck the training camp of JeM early on Tuesday, killing "a large number" of JeM terrorists, trainers, senior commanders and groups of jihadis being trained for fidayeen.

The air strike came days after JeM claimed responsibility for the February 14 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama, which left 40 CRPF troopers dead.

Happy to see all the parties spoke the same language and put their support behind Armed Forces.
Over the years world community put a lot of pressure on India to excercise restraint. However, they now realize what India has been saying throughout.

It is proved only for blind bhakts like you. Today's attack is only because of the tough stance taken by IAF. Chaiwala had not other option after the Pulwama attack than giving free hand to defence.

Just admit that there was a strong leadership behind this action plan and in democratic set-up like India, the leadership accounts from those heading the government.
We saluted Indira, Shastriji and now Modiji, why should we make politics Gowdre ?

once upon a time.. all these personalities were barking a lot for what ever Modi has done.. irrespective.. now whole crowd realized no fun in being an odd man out and getting criticized... it was visible for the whole nation , their anti modi attitude.. so now, no choice... they need to respect the decisions and acts of Modi... changing one by one... seen many personalities started appreciating Modi's actions... end of the day we will see SG and RG will also be looking for BJP Party ticket to be an MP. very soon.

India has won 2 full fledged wars against Pakistan before Modi has taken over the leadership of the country. Before more action and less talks now less action more talks!

All happens with political permission and for any success of the nation credit should go to everybody including the Leader. Why cant you accept the fact that we Indians are one when it comes to fighting terrorist.. pls dont create separate fans for IAF and Modiji.. Its a team work.

If such is your opinion, then to whom credit should go for leading the country to victory in the 1948, 1965 and 1971 wars? No doubt our brave and well disciplined armed forces play a pivotal in a war but political leadership also plays a decisive role. Otherwise why was Indira Gandhi called iron lady and hailed as Durga Ma after the 1971 war?
