Churu (Rajasthan), Feb 26 (IANS): In his first remarks after Indian Air Force (IAF) planes struck the Jaish-e-Mohammad's (JeM) biggest terror training camp in Pakistan's Balakot on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed that he will always defend the nation and not allow it to bow.

Addressing a public meeting here, Modi said: "I want to assure the people of the country that the nation is in safe hands."

He said that he will repeat what he said in 2014.

"Saughandh mujhe is mitti ki main desh nahi mitne dunga, main desh nahi jhukne doonga. Mera vachan hai Bharat maa ko, tera sheesh nahi jhukne doonga (I vow to the soil of my country that I won't allow the country to break, won't allow the country to bow. I promise mother India that I will not let your head bow down)."

"Jaag raha hai desh mera, har bharatwasi jitega (My country is awakening and every citizen will win)," Modi thundered.

He also said that today the mood of the people looks different.

The Prime Minister said: "Nothing is more important than the nation. And I salute the people who are serving the nation."

His remarks came hours after the IAF struck the JeM's biggest training camp at Balakot in Pakistan.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan admitted that the IAF planes struck Balakot but claimed that they returned when it scrambled its war planes.

BJP has created Jaish-e-Mohammad by releasing Masood Azhar creating terror outfit JeM by releasing Masood Azhar during the Kandahar standoff in 1999.
These attacks would not have taken place had the JeM not been created. And who created JeM? The BJP, by releasing Masood Azhar. Who escorted Masood Azhar to Afghanistan? BJP. What did Masood Azhar do after that? He formed Jaish-e-Mohammad.
The Vajpayee government relented and asked the then External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh and the then Intelligence Bureau Chief Ajit Doval to escort the three terrorists to Kandahar in Afghanistan, where they were handed over to the Taliban.
If the nation is in the 'Safe hands' it should be all praises our real heroes of Indian forces. We need to salute them for their bravery.
But this cross border strike needs an official release from the 'Indian forces' who took part in the operation. We Indians can't rely on fake news pro BJP propaganda channels like Republic TV, Zee, Aaj Tak, Sudharshan TV and so on.
If it is west Chief of Armed forces briefs the press conference and take the questions. But in India, all the operation details are first released by Television channels and then politicians in election rallies.
India will be safe if he brings 'Azahar Mahmood' head with 20 he promised for each Indian soldiers. Indians will be safe if acts with an iron hand against 'lynching' as well which is another form of terror.

No political overtures and gain for political gain. This is national security and integrity of the nation.

Mr Modijee, PM of India, last 4 years 9 months in every field you have failed and after Pulwara attack where our 40 plus soldiers died, you woke up to strike Pakistan territory through air force. Do not take credit for this. Indian air force has been trained from 1947 onwards and what is today, it is because of the past government hard work. You could not even bring one freighter air craft to join Indian air force except recently HAL handed over 3 helicopter. As usual feku, make in India is only slogan and import from foreign land including China. Shame on you.
Get credit what you have sowed and reaped in your 5 years tenure as PM of India but do not take credit for the work sowed by previous government.

Whenever and wherever JeM raises its ugly head, go after it even to the point of wiping out the LoC and taking possession of the whole of Kashmir and redrawing boundaries. There is absolute no doubt that … all Hindustani’s are proud of Hindustan’s Military Might specifically the Air Force..,

However, it painful & disturbing (after all education & sense of wisdom matters most) to listen to Hindustan’s honorable PM making a statement that and I quote – “The nation is in safe hands”…, thus indirectly signaling to the likes of Pakistan that Hindustan is not United (why politics…???.., despite Hindustan’s tall leaders open support to the Govt., and to the Military/Defense forces)

Remember Hindustan's military was not built since May'2014.., Remember Iron Lady Honorable Ex PM Late Smt Indira Gandhiji..., made Pakistan eat dust...!!!!

While that being said., -
- why the union govt is not giving instruction/direction to Hindustan’s Brave Air Force to reach beyond the border to purge/finish off the alleged JeM terrorists once and for all…????,
- why it took more than 10 days to carry out this exercise..???,
- while the govt bench mark & borrow Israel’s approach to handle terrorism (Israel known to react/response at lightning speed & with 10 times mightier attack on enemies)took 10 days to respond…???
- Why only the bombing at the border…, that too after 10 days…????, who knows…???? probably.., the better part of logistical resources would have been already de-camped before today’s bombing…,
- The whole of Hindustan is supporting the govt to do what is need of the hour…., not sure why govt’s action is not acting louder than what it speaks…!!!!

Absolutely true. India is not a new country born after Mr. Modi assumed office. Indian army and forces shown their bravery and adventure by defeating Pakistan twice in a full fledged war when technology was not that sophisticated as we have now. Let the army given a free hand to eliminate total terrorists who pose threat to our country. Let the politics take the back seat now.

Now chaiwala and Daku will start their election campaign on two major points of Pulwama and this air strike.
In the case of Pulwama Modi should accept that it was a utter failure of intelligence.
In case of today's airstrike, the decision and credit goes only to our brave IAF and not pakodawala.
But blind bhakts will vote for this senseless illiterate person and it will be Modi again till 2024 and the nation will see its worst phase since Independence.
the past five years went in GST, demonetization, rs 1100 crore BJP office, buidling of sardar statue and war memorial. At the end crumbs of Rs 2000 were thrown to the farmers.
