Venezuela to deport US TV crew


Caracas, Feb 26 (IANS): Venezuelan authorities have announced they will deport the crew of US broadcaster Univision after they were briefly detained while interviewing President Nicolas Maduro.

The Univision team was at the presidential palace for the interview on Monday where they were detained for two-and-a-half hours after Maduro was displeased with their questions, reports Efe news.

SNTP, press workers union of Venezuela, said in a tweet: "It is confirmed that the Univision team will be deported."
