PAF F-16 shot down by India

New Delhi, Feb 27 (IANS): India on Wednesday shot down a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) F-16 that had come close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

The aircraft fell 3 kilometres inside Pakistani-administered Kashmir. As the PAF jets approached the LoC, IAF scrambled fighters and the retaliatory fire from the ground forced the F-16s to return but not before one took the hit and went down.

It is time that India should give befitting reply to the terrorist country. Enough is enough. Our good wishes and prayers with our Army, Airforce and Navy. Never in future we will suffer because of terrorists. Finish them once for all. The whole world is looking at India and it's Leadership!

I can say that Indian news is 100 percent correct and that of Pak is 100% false. there is no doubt that IAF has shot down PAF fighter jet and 2 IAF jets were fallen down due to mechanical reason and both the pilots have safely landed in indian territory. What Pak is claiming of capturing one IAF pilot alive is 100 percent false.
Our pilots are so brave and trained that they are able to deceive pak army and come back to our territory. Every one knows that IAF planes bombed headquarter of JeM training camp and killed more than 500 terrorists, but pak media is not accepting this and saying that not a single casualty was done. Pak is always claiming of winning previous 3 battles whereas truth is opposite to this. Pak never won a war against india. Indian army is so human and that is the reason they came back from Pak after winning war. Now pak is requesting Afghanistan to mediate and make india not to attack them. I salute IAF PILOT who shot down pak mig fighter which is declined by pak.

My relative outside India told me that Pakistan has confirmed two Indian Pilots are captured. Also, Imran Khan is with defence personnel discussing on nuclear issues. As on now, may be how to safeguard the nuclear sites. Still, one should not forget that it is a rogue country.

In a latest press meet, pakistani general denied Indian claim and said they detained two indian pilots which is a grave concern if its true. It is difficult to understand the authenticity of the claims of both sides especially during war.

no problem , we spend the same amount on a daily basis . let them finish it in next 15 days with a proper war instead of our soldiers battling every day a proxy war and liberals crying for the terrorists . i ma hoping they also get POK under indian controle and finish the special status to J&K .
