Himachal's Dharamsala airport shut

Shimla, Feb 27 (IANS): The airport in Himachal Pradesh's Dharamsala town was closed for civilian operation on Wednesday, airport officials said.

However, two other airports in the state -- Kullu and Shimla -- are operating.

According to official sources, the airport facilities in Dharamsala, close to Pathankot, are currently being used by the Indian Air Force (IAF).

"This morning a to-and-fro flight between Delhi and Dharamsala was operated. But other two scheduled flights were cancelled," an official told IANS.
