Mangalore: National  Level  Inter-collegiate  Fest at  St Agnes Concludes

Mangalore, Feb 7: The two-day national level inter-collegiate festival organized at St Agnes College here, concluded on Saturday February 7.
 
Arts,  business management, science  and commerce  students, who showcased their  skills and talent  in  various  events, and those who proved their mettle in skill tests  in their respective fields, were  honoured with  awards, to  thunderous applause of the gathering. 
 
Principal of  St Agnes College Marie Prem D'souza   honoured the  prize winners in the presence of staff  co-ordinator Supriya A C and student  co-ordinator Vathika Kamath. alongwith  other lecturers and  professors  of  St  Agnes college.




















































There  were  events like  Comquest for  commerce students, Horizon for  business management,  Rhythm Agnesia  for  arts and  Epistami  for  science  students.
     
St  Josephs Evening  College from  Bangalore, Dr NSAM  college  Nitte, Govinda Das  College  from  Suratkal, St Aloysius, Canara  College, SDM College and Mangalore  University  College  from the city  participated  in this  festival.
 
Nitte  College  bagged the overalls championship  while  SDM college  became  runner-up in  Epistami.  In Comquest, St Aloysius College annexed the top honour and SDM was placed second. SDM   got overall championship in Rhythm Agnesia, pushing  St Josephs  college to the runners-up spot.

In  Horizon,  St  Aloysius won the award and SDM College had to be content with the second slot.

Best  personality, Event management,  CEO, Marketing,  best  entrepreneur  and   Vice  presidents   are awarded  with cash awards and  mementoes.

It really makes us proud to see such vibrant activities at our college. You give us the inspiration to be alive and active, thus re-living our college days through the activities of the Alumnae here in Kuwait. We are proud to be Agnesians!!

    Congrats to the entire St Agnes College to have organized this event. I relived those moments as I saw the photographs. It was such a pleasure to see Sr Supriya, Ady Maam, Sr Jeswina, Dr.Sr.Prem, Sampoornananda Sir. I miss those wonderfull days......
