Abu Dhabi Crown Prince calls Modi, Imran Khan; stresses dialogue

New Delhi, Mar 1 (IANS): Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Zayed al-Nahyan on Thursday called Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Imran Khan, stressing the importance of dialogue and communication in resolving differences.

The Crown Prince said in a tweet that he talked to Modi and Khan, and stressed the "importance of dealing wisely with recent developments and giving priority to dialogue and communication".

The Crown Prince is also the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The tweet came a day before the meet of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in which India -- for the first time, has been invited as guest of honour at the plenary.

Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after India struck a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror camp in Pakistan on Tuesday following the February 14 Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed.

Pakistan sought to target some Indian military installations next day and in the ensuing aerial fight, both countries lost a fighter jet.

Pakistan has decided to release on Friday Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot Abhinandan Varthaman, who was taken in its custody after his MiG-21 went down in Pakistan-occupied territory.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince should use his good office and relationship to convince Pakistan to act.

He should tell Pakistan to dismantle all terrorist camps and handover all the terror leaders for investigation.

Then the dialogue will surely begin. Because we have seen for many decades only talks and no action and lost thousands of innocent lives and properties due to terror atrocities. This is still going on. On what basis dialogue?

    Nobody will tell Pakistan anything.
India has to keep striking terrorists camps in Pakistan.
    That's the only way'.
This has gone on for too long.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince is good intentions are really good.
There are other good leaders in the world always pressurizing Pakistan Govt to act on their terrorist/ Sponsors!
Even their neighbors, Europe, U.S. are victim evident from David Hadley and Pak given shelter to Osama Bin Laden!
However Pak Govt always been very weak to confront their terror sponsors for they wield massive fanatic public support.
Wherever there are massive fanatics, there is problem. All their leaders may not be bad or many are obviously not good also.
Some leaders may be supporting terrorists, but some may not.
But why, outside world, their terror victims, should suffer for Pak Govt's weakness?

    Yes sir,
    They will kill 45 jawans,
    They will attack the parliament.
    They will attack Mumbai.
    And we will talk peace???
Do you know how peace was brought in Punjab during khalistan times?
It didn't happen by talking peace.

Pak PM himself doesn't have the power to take decision. He will consult the army chief . Terrorism, cheating, looting, theft ..it's in Pakistani blood. They never ever give up.

The main problem that India and the whole world face is terrorism. If that stops then only dialogue will make sense and some headway.

Pak PM Imran Khan assures to release our IAF Pilot,
    PM Modi claims credit.
Donald Trump claims credit for de-escalation of war
Abbudhabi crown prince, calls both the countries for dialogue.
    Let's thank them all.
Sincerely pray for release of Khulbushan Jadhav held as captive by Pak on accusation as Spy of RAW,
So many died in just 15 days of hostilities. Let's pray for them / families.
Let's pray that Pak Govt be able to prevail over their terrorists supporters and our Govt also prevail over hate Mongers and War Escalators in genuine interest of both countries.

Releasing one pow don't make pak a non terrorists sponcering state. The blood they spilled, in India, Afghanistan and Bangladesh cannot be wiped so easily. However releasing the pilot is good, but our aim is not pilot release, but end of state sponcered terror. There cannot be peace till that happens.

Their terror export is well known to all over the world.
We ourselves experienced the same during Mumbai Terrorist Attack.
Whether Imran Khan has will power and ability to prevail over terror Mongers have to be seen.
Terror affected country can't afford to be silent spectators, even if he is willing and unable. Nevertheless, good intentions of anyone must be appreciated.
