Mangaluru, Mar 1: Member of Parliament (MP) Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated the outdoor gymnasium, children’s play equipments and several other development works, here at Kadri Park on Friday, March 1.

The development of an outdoor gym, walking track, and children play equipment was done under the Amruth Scheme of the central government, state government and MCC at a cost of Rs 1.16 crore.

Speaking on the occasion, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, "Today, we have inaugurated several development works, and children’s play equipment at Kadri Park. This was a long pending demand as the equipments for the children at Kadri Park which were in a pathetic condition. Iit was necessary to scrap them and install new equipment along with an outdoor gym which will be useful for daily visitors to the park.”

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, mayor Bhaskar Moily, corporator Premananda Shetty, Roopa D Bangera, Praveen Chandra Alva, Naveen D'Souza, Niveditha Shetty, Pooja Pai and others were present.
