Being so closely associated with the Udupi District Athletic Association, I would like to put something on record here. It is sad to see that some readers here are assuming that Syndicate Bank organized this whole event and are praising just them, but the people who should really get credit are not getting the due credit. I am definitely thankful to Syndicate back for sponsoring this event and they did a great job, but the real force behind this whole event are Udupi District Athletic association and Udupi MLA. So they too deserve some credit and gratitude. Again, another example of how terrible job the Indian media is doing in giving only half news to people and manipulating people's mind as they wish.

Marathon with a meaning. It was a good initiative on the part of Syndicate Bank to organise the recent Marathon in Manipal. Apart from spreading a social message to eradicate evil, it also helped in encouraging young and old minds to get into the healthy habit of running as well. If only more and more establishments of repute engage in such laudable causes, we can educate our erring men and women to shun acts of terrorism and accept the benefits of peaceful living. We will then surely have a peaceful India.

yaah its a good step taken in aim of social reform. hope we all do it together to wipe out the real terror in our mind and our city. Not to mention but to understand who makes terror is Terrorist. And the people who create terror are in between us and in front. wipe them out plzz wipe them out... Its we the people who have to bring changes not the government. During the National freedom struggle it was the people who fought and broght the Aug 15th and only we can do it come on lets all forget what you are who you are and close your hands to establish the Freedom what the constitution has given to every citizen. our God bless us all..
