Bantwal: Sharath Madiwala murder – main accused surrenders to court

Bantwal, Mar 2: Kalandar Nissar alias Mohammed Nisar (27),  a resident of Panolibail under Sajipamooda village near here, who is the second accused in the murder of RSS activist Sharath Madiwala surrendered himself to the court here on Friday, March 1. He has been remanded to judicial custody. 

The murder had taken place on July 4, 2017. 

Kalandar had earlier tried to secure bail in district sessions court and high court but failed to get the same.

There are 18 accused in this case, out of which 17 people have been arrested by the police. One of the accused, Ibrahim a resident of Nandavar has allegedly escaped to a foreign county.
