Bengaluru: Wing Commander Abhinandan released after PM Modi warned Pak of dire consequences - Yeddy

Bengaluru, Mar 2: BJP president BS Yeddyurappa hailed the release of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman and said that he was released after PM Modi warned Pakistan without delay or face the consequences. BS Yeddyurappa was addressing party workers.

BS Yeddyurappa further said that the tactics used by PM Modi has exposed Pakistan and now Pakistan stands isolated internationally. He further said that it was for the first time in 40 years that the Indian forces had crossed the line of control and bombed the terrorist camps in Pakistan. He added that the forces were given a complete freedom and that resulted in Pakistan bowing down to India.

Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was handed over to India on Friday night at the Attari-Wagah border. BS Yeddyurappa had earlier claimed that the BJP will win 22 out of 28 seats in Karnataka after the IAF’s pre-emptive strike on the Jaish camp in Pakistan. He said that it was the responsibility of the party workers to do all the hard work to make Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India for the 2nd time.

BS Yeddyurappa’s direct comments about PM Modi’s efforts in bringing back the IAF pilot has been well circulated in media. The fact that he has related this to Lok Sabha poll results in Karnataka has been a matter of discussion in media and political circles. The opposition parties have blamed BJP for using forces for electoral gains. BJP’s national leadership has denied this time and again.

Apart from BS Yeddyurappa, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had also made similar comments related to the return of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. He had said that PM Modi had warned Pakistan against harming the IAF pilot. While addressing a gathering at Junagadh town in Gujarat, UP CM had said that PM Modi was a strong prime minister. He said that in past it was difficult to secure release of our soldiers in Pakistan custody. He said that PM made it clear to Pakistan that they will not compromise and Pakistan should remain ready to bear the consequences if they do not return the IAF pilot.

    The educated, matured PM of Pakistan, cricketer Imran Khan has defused the situation. He had even trying to contact our honourable PM Modijee and he has not responded. Then in his speech in Pakistan Parliament, he has announced that he will release Wing Commander Abhinandan and deescalated the situation. I appreciate Imran Khan good gesture.
