Udupi: Union minister Smriti Irani to visit Malpe on Mar 3 to take part in mega youth enclave

Udupi, Mar 2: "Union Minister Smrithi Irani will visit Udupi for the first time to take part in 'Panchajanya', a mega youth conclave that will be held at Malpe beach near here on March 3," said Shashanka Shivattaya, convenor of Namo Bharath Udupi.

Shashanka was addressing the media at the press club in the city on Saturday, March 2. He further said, "This event is organized by Namo Bharath of the district with the mission of winning more than 365 seats for BJP and making Narendra Modi as the prime minister again."

Meenakshi Lekhi, MP and national spokes person of BJP will also attend this programme.

"Namo Bharath is a non-political organization of Modi’s fans. It is promoting and making the public understand the importance and necessity of Modi’s creative leadership to India. It is also helping to reach people-friendly schemes to the public effectively," added Shashanka.

Shashank says, "Modi has a huge fan-following in the country. Other than politics, people also like him for his personality and leadership. Panchajanya is a secular group and stands by Modi and his works. Around 20,000 people are expected to attend the event."

4 pm: Vehicle rally till Vadabhandeshwar by Modi fan-followers

4 pm: Devotional music programme 'Svara Bharathi’ at Malpe

5 pm: Padayatra by guests, from Vadabhandeshwar to Malpe beach

5.30 pm: Formal stage function

Members of Namo Bharath Karthik Kundar, Avinash Shetty, Goliyangadi, Chaithra Kota, Narasimha and Sanith Poojary were present at the press meet.
