Mangaluru: Youth and father booked for assaulting senior citizen, women

Mangaluru, Mar 2: A youth, who is already booked by the police for assaulting a lady doctor at a private hospital in the city recently, is once again in news for assaulting a senior citizen and ladies at Jeppu Morgans Gate. The incident took place on Friday, March 1.

The person who assaulted has been identified as Abdul Rahiman (28).

It is learnt that Abdul Rahiman and his father abused and threatened a senior citizen residing at Jeppu on Friday noon near the mosque. In retaliation, the senior citizen informed them that he would lodge a police complaint if they continue doing the same.

Angered by his comments, Abdul Rahiman and his father, in the evening, located the house of the senior citizen and assaulted him. They also attacked the ladies who tried to save the senior citizen and abused them in foul language.

As per reports, the timely intervention of locals averted more injuries on the senior citizen and ladies. The locals admitted the injured to private hospital.

As per complaint by Ashiq, the son of the senior citizen, Pandeshwar police have registered a case under section 341, 448 , 323, 324, 354, 355, 504, 506, and 34.

    What a shame .Assaulting ladies and senior person.More ashaming is the father too joined to this and planned.Actually he should have holdback son from such activities.No he mix with it.Are not from a good house brought up.cant expect something better.So now time to show them a where it leads and up with them in a rudest jail.There they will learn how to live.Better send them to border for fighting.There they can show their muscles.
