 Agencies

MUMBAI, Feb 10: Mumbai police have said that terror groups have approached Dawood Ibrahim to kill Mohammad Ajmal Kasab, the lone terrorist caught alive  after the November 26 Mumbai attacks, said TV reports.

Sources from the intelligence agencies said that underworld don Chhota Shakeel, a close aide of Dawood Ibrahim, has been given a contract to kill Kasab. Shakeel is believed to be hiding in Pakistan with help coming from Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence.

According to an intelligence sources, the plot came to light on January 29 when a Research and Analysis Wing branch of Gujarat's Bhuj district intercepted a telephonic conversation from across the border. The matter has already been discussed at the January 10 National Security Council meeting. The information has been now handed over to the Mumbai police by the Centre.

An official.said Kasab’s death would mean there won’t be any evidence to pin Pakistan in the Mumbai attacks case.

Yes prashanth you are 100%right!!Even if we produce ten more such witnesses pak is not ready to accept. It's their nature by blood itself.Still they are trying to cap this on india's head.Hang him in public and let other terrorists be aware of this and may minimise the rate of crimes. What more you can expect from Pakistan. They started to blame Bangladesh for this terror attack. They will never be a good neighbour. Better to seal the border completely and stop trade, sports, cultural and other activities with Pakistan. I know some good people on both sides will be affected by this but we cant help it. No pain, no gain. Enough is engough with Pakis.
