Three more candidates named Sumalatha file nominations from Mandya

Mandya, Mar 27: In a move which looks like having taken a leaf out of Kannada movie, 'Ayogya', in which several people with matching names are shown to have entered election fray, three women named Sumalatha have filed nomination papers for the Lok Sabha (LS) election from this constituency. The ploy, which was employed by several in the past, smacks of a plan to confuse the voters.

All the three candidates filed nomination papers on Tuesday March 26. With this, four people with the name, Sumalatha, including cine actress and Ambareesh's wife, are in the fray now.


Sumalatha Ambareesh

Sumalatha Manje Gowda from Koravi village in K R Pet, Sumalatha Sidde Gowda from Ranganatha Extension Kanakapura, and Sumalatha from T M Hosur village in Srirangapatna taluk have filed nominations.

    This is for sure a JDS ploy to confuse voters. I don't think one should play dirty games like this. Fight elections on your ability and performance and not like this. Playing dirty games is a speciality of the BJP, therefore don't get infected by the same disease..

    Wah Sumalatha CUBE...
    Who plays good politics and who plays the dirty one, everyone will come to know after election.
    this kind of politics is fair enough and is expected to happen.

    But the politics played by BJP is dirty politics, kachra politics, Politics of HATE, politics of communalism and politics of lies
    Philosophy of Savarkar, divide and rule.

    Without communal politics I don’t think so BJP could have existed till now.
    In our district also if you notice.
    Nalin kumar is still an MP bcoz of communalism.
    Shobha also its same.
    And at center MODI also its same.
    The Climax of communal politics is you will loose your loved ones, No matter from which religion they belong to.

    This Gowda family is selfish, greedy and ruthless. The whole family wants to be in politics. So that they can loot the country's resources as a united front. This goes on to prove the benefits of being in politics. One can enjoy all the goodies without having to toil. This is a clear indication of the arrogance of the Gowda family. God have mercy on us.

    This is such a disgrace. Even today a political party uses dummy candidates to fool uneducated people who they kept uneducated since Independence just to fool them and remain in power. This just shows their level. People should take this seriously not only in Mandya, but in all constituency and teach these political goons a proper lesson.
