Bengaluru, Mar 29: The income tax raids, which were conducted simultaneously in six districts where first phase of election is being held shortly, have come to an end.

These raids were conducted in Hassan, Mandya, Shivamogga, Mysuru, Kanakapura and Chikkamagaluru districts. Unconfirmed reports said that the income tax officials confessed to a contractor before leaving that they were mistaken.

IT raid in Mandya

The teams of income tax officials who concluded their work on Thursday night, collected documents in bags from different places. During the raid on the residence of Shivamurthy, a contractor said to be close to minister H D Revanna, the officials found Rs 50,000 in cash, which they returned. It is said that the officials agreed to the contractor that they were at fault. Shivamurthy has claimed that the officials raided him just because he was connected with JD(S).

The income tax officials are yet to reveal the amount of gold, cash etc they have confiscated during the raids. They are expected to give details today. Sources however claim that the cache this time has not been huge.

See, just because of protests by CM & team, who were quiet and tolerant for so long, raids end!
Ofcourse corruption is the issue with all parties and even in the department itself!
    But target shouldn't be selectively.
This type of revolt in W.B. Andhra & Karnataka happened only during PM Modi regime.
How can they operate in a state, if state government don't co-operate?

No bro u r slightly wrong....Bjp is corrupt + communal...Others r just Corrupt...If we have to select between Corrupt and Corrupt+communal, obiviously we will vote for only Corrupt party right.Atleast these parties dont threaten the minorities...We know all are animals, but if we have to choose between a normal dog and a mad dog, any sane person would choose normal dog right...
