Kundapur, Mar 31: Police personnel attached to Kota police station took into possession a vehicle in which cattle were being transported illegally in the early hours of Saturday March 30.

11 animals were rescued, while three calves were found to have already died. Those involved with this illegal transportation succeeded in fleeing.

Based on reliable information, police sub-inspector of the station, Rafiq M, along with other staff, waited near Kolkebail junction and based on suspicion, stopped a motor bike and a Bolero pick-up truck. The drivers of vehicles abandoned the vehicles in running condition and made good their escape. As a result, the pick-up truck moved ahead and fell into roadside drain.

A verification of the vehicle revealed that three calves had died. Three cows, six male calves, and two female calves were found alive. They were rescued and brought to the police station.

One of the cows rescued was found to be having the tag inserted for insurance purposes. Therefore, it is believed that these cattle were stolen. A case about the incident was registered in Kota police station.

Cattle has become an excellent source for smuggling and illegitimate money.

Pay lakhs to cow vigilante gangs, who vouch for the cow safety in TV Chanls, the truck that carries illegal cattle to slaughter can move from anywhere. Same gang will ensure safe passage. This is what makes some guys staunch supporters. It is quick and big money.

This is the trend all around India. So, India keep hitting the top beef exporter rank also, money for the cow gangs and we all know who they are sympathetic to.

Who suffers, poor middle class who farm the cattle's. The leather industry, that employed millions.
Modi led BJP has devious agenda behind this, not the honest one. That is the pain.

India is No.1 in exporting buffalo meat. Go to any GCC country, you'll find boneless frozen meat imported from India is buffalo, not cow.
