Mangaluru: 'Zephyr’, two-day PG management fest inaugurated at SJEC

Mangaluru, Apr 4: General manager, HR, IR and admin of JBF Petrochemicals, Dheeraj Shetty, inaugurated 'Zephyr 2019’, a two-day national level PG management fest here at St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) on Thursday April 4, organised by department of business administration.

Addressing the gathering, Dheeraj Shetty, said, "This event is a learning process. You have got an opportunity to take part here in an event other than your academics. You need to have passion and commitment towards achieving your goal and nothing can stop you.”



Principal in-charge of St Joseph Engineering College Dr Sudheer said, "We are engaging in activities outside classrooms. This will help students to acquire skills. Your participation makes you more confident. The benefit of taking part in events is education, you learn to manage time and it also promotes social interaction.”

Dheeraj Shetty unveiled the winner’s trophy and newsletter.

Dr Sudheer unveiled the mascot of the fest.

Naina Viola Pinto welcomed the gathering and student coordinator Rhys Howard Rego rendered the vote of thanks.

Prakash Pinto, dean - MBA, Jeevan Lawrence, convener - Zephyr, Sudharshan Bhat, student coordinator and others were present.
