Mangaluru: City police raid district prison, items seized

Mangaluru, Apr 16: City police raided district prison during on Tuesday, April 16.

Police personnel seized two mobile phones, three SIM cards and two memory cards. Also, a narcotic smoking device was seized.

All the phones and numbers would be analysed to get additional information, said police sources.

    It is only a eye wash.Just one should think who can bring simcards and Mobiles?Visitors are always controlled.whether watchman and staffs too are controlled?Police self?Food carreers and vans going in and out ?how far the control is Secure?Money speaks everywhere.not control.

    Such things enter through police personnel?? If ordinary pays an visit, he will be checked.. Otherwise how it's possible? Then they only raid?

    Jammer really disturbing people living in surrounding the Jail area ... why can't they shut off jammer??? no measures taken after complaint given many times... but prisoner are still using phones ..

    Phone and sim cards inside jail and Jammer in jail to disturb only surrounding area people...??? how they use mobile inside jail when jammer installed in jail???? good move by City police...
