This early rain should drive a message to the Udupi Municipality
to carry out good repair works to all low lying roads/pot holes,
and clear the silt and garbage from Storm Water natural drains,
as well as clean all the roadside drains all over Udupi town to avoid
flooding in the coming monsoon season.

With this unseasonal rain comes sickness etc. Unless it rains non-stop for a couple of hours to cool off the climate there will be a host of problems coming up.

Thank God for this unseasonal sudden rains which gave some relief to the people of Udupi and surrounding areas. We need the rains very badly and as much as possible. Of course this caused traffic jams in some place and above all people were caught unaware and caused hardship to people on the roads.
