Mangaluru: Depression in south of Bay of Bengal - cyclone in coast likely

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Apr 26: Head of Karnataka State Natural Disasters Monitoring Center, G S Srinivas Reddy, has predicted that the cyclone which is expected to be created in Bay of Bengal will also affect Karnataka cost. He expects good rainfall in coastal Karnataka and southern interior Karnataka on April 29, 30, and May 1 as a result. "If the cyclone becomes stronger, even monsoon might get delayed," he warned.

Depression in atmospheric pressure is created in the southern side of Bay of Bengal. There is likelihood of a cyclone getting created. If it gains momentum, this cyclone can have effect on the monsoon winds.

A low pressure area has been created a little away from Tamil Nadu coast inside the Bay of Bengal. This is developing into a cyclone. A clear picture about it will emerge on April 27. If the cyclone happens, the clouds get scattered, and it takes some time for the clouds to come together again. This in effect can delay arrival of monsoon by two to three weeks.

Because of the low pressure area as above, there is possibility of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka getting good rainfall coupled with strong wind. At the same time, a trough has emerged over the Arabian sea, which indicates that coastal Karnataka and southern interior regions are likely to get rain along with strong wind during the next couple of days, the meteorological department stated.

As per the statistics of the department, Karnataka coast got less than normal rainfall during the monsoon seasons for three years from 2014 to 2017.

This situation also might prove ominous for the fishing labourers working here, and who have come back after a long leave to attend polling in their home states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. If an alert is sounded, fishing trips will be curtailed, resulting in losses for these fishermen, said Trawl Boat Owners Association president, Nitin Kumar.

Everything is in god's hands and in the arms of mother nature. Whatever they predicted so far, nothing happened so aggressively (just mild we experienced). Nature knows what's best and what's right according to our human nature. Let's not blame anyone instead hope and pray for the betterment of our place.

Mam....So by this logic nature doesn't know what is right in US, Philippines and other countries?
Or god doesn't like the people living in these countries?
Or is this just a natural phenomenon? Because there are storms on Jupiter, Mars and other planets also...whom god is trying to punish there?
    Just some food for thought...
It is easy to say imaginary creatures did it...
    Peace....
