Udupi, May 3: Ishwar Achanoor (35), son of Parappa, resident of Layada Gundi in Badami taluk, Bagalkot district, has been working as coolie in the city. About a year back, he had bought a Vodafone SIM card by providing copy of his Adhar card and thumb impression from Vodafone distributor at the city bus stand here. The above distributor used the copy of Achanoor's Adhar card and thumb impression to issue another SIM card to another person. When you make aadhar as sole identity card for all uses these things are bound to happen. Many bank accounts and other facilities have been opened in India when aadhar card was made as sole id for all purposes by foreigners during the regime of NaMo government. Slowly all these misuse of aadhar will come out.
