Mangalore: Gangadhar Gowda to Join BJP on Apr 9

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (SN/SP)

Mangalore, Apr 8: “The Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha candidate from the BJP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, will file his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha polls on Thursday April 9 and on the same day former minister Gangadhar Gowda will quit congress party and join the BJP,” said Monappa Bhandary, BJP Dakshina Kannada district president, speaking at the press conference here on Tuesday April 7.

Gangadhar Gowda along with his supporters will join the BJP at a ceremony to be held at the BJP election office here on Thursday April 9. Apart from Gowda, Vinay Naik, former zilla panchayat member from Talapady will also come into BJP's fold, said Bhandary.

Large number of supporters of Gangadhar Gowda will accompany him at the BJP meeting to be held at Beltangady on Wednesday April 15, he explained.

The BJP workers had expressed their desire to take out a procession prior to the submission of nomination papers, but since it is against the election code of conduct, the candidate has made arrangement to file the papers accompanied by four senior leaders and make it a simple procedure, Bhandary explained.

Krishna J Palemar, district in-charge minister, MLA Yogish Bhat, Rukmaya Poojary and Nitin Kumar were present at the conference.

How many are there in BJP those are originally BJP party supporters? All BJP candidates are from either from Cong, JD-S or other party’s. Now everybody knows if any party ignore them they will join BJP and get some money for living.

Voters should teach lesson for those who changing party’s frequently then only these people will learn a lesson. Yesterday these people are accusing BJP as communal  and now they are joining the same party.  How bad...............
