Dubai, May 16: Deeksha Coutinho hailing from Mangaluru, emerged winner of 'Rising Star of Dubai 2019' organised by Avighna Production, Dubai at children city Creek park.
Deeksha Coutinho is the daughter of Latha and late Anthony Coutinho and sister of Silvy Penha. Born and brought up in Mangalore, Deeksha is currently studying as a pre-university student at St. Aloysius College, Mangalore.
Deeksha began dancing at the age of three and has been performing for ABCD dance group. She has won numerous awards since she started dancing, including first prize at Geethajali competition, Mangalore.
She has played a short role in Dhand, a coastalwood movie at the age of 12yrs and also played character role of Aradya in Maya Kannadi a sandalwood movie directed by Vinod Poojary and produced by Ranjith Bajpe, which is going to be released soon.
