Udupi, May 17: Malpe Manipal Builders' ‘Royal Embassy’, one of the tallest multi-storey apartments of the city, was inaugurated here at End Point Road, Manipal on Thursday, May 16.

Vasanthi Pai inaugurated the building by lighting the lamp, while H S Ballal, pro chancellor, Manipal University, wife Indira Ballal, Supriya Madhwaraj, Pratheeksha Raj, Dr. H Sudarshan Ballal, Purushottam Shetty, proprietor, Ujwal Developers, Jayakar Shetty Indrali, general manager, Badagubettu Credit Cooperative Society, Pramod Madhwaraj, Thota Mohammed Suhel, managing director, and board of directors of Malpe Manipal Builders Pvt Limited were present.

H S Ballal addressing the gathering said, “This is the tallest apartment in the city and has all kinds of advanced facilities. It is a very much convenient place for everyone, who wants to purchase their dream apartment.

 

 

“Some of the apartments here are owned by Manipal University for its faculty. As Manipal is known as an education hub, students and people, coming from across the world, look for apartments with better facilities. Hence, this would be a great residential place for them. It is not an easy task to construct such a big building,” Ballal said appreciating the design of the building.

“We are good in education sector, hence decided not go into construction,” he said.

Royal Embassy is a multi-storey apartment constructed on a 3.5 acre land at Manipal by Malpe Manipal Builders Pvt Ltd. It has G+30 floors. A, B, C, and D, are the four independent towers connected to the central core which has six high speed elevators and two staircases. All the four towers have fire emergency staircases. Very spacious air conditioned lobby is constructed with modern interiors.

The project has 1, 2, 3 & 4 bed room flats and eight duplex penthouses at the 29th and 30th floor with private terrace.

Total flats in this project are 393. As many as 450 car parking spaces are provided in four levels.

All the common areas of the project are monitored by CCTV & 24X7 security Facilities. Beautifully designed entrance gate arc with security kiosk, landscape area, jogging track, sunset view desk are constructed.

In addition to this, a separate recreational facility block has been constructed in four levels in which at one level an air-conditioned hall for 200 people, indoor games, yoga and meditation facilities in another level, state of art gym in another level and billiards table, table tennis and covered swimming pool decks are provided at one more level.

A separate children and adult swimming pool are constructed with separate changing room for gents and ladies, and beautifully designed amphitheatre is constructed adjacent to children's sand pit and tot-lot area.

Separate car parking and guest house facilities are provided for the flat owners' guests and also separate drivers’ rest rooms and wash rooms are constructed at parking level.

The building is constructed with earthquake resistant foundation system and MIVAN concrete shear wall system. 

The project is designed by renowned architects M/S Prakash Simons and Associates. All the latest and modern technologies are incorporated in the project.

    Please try to get Varahi Water to Udupi ASAP...so to avoid water shortage to Udupi in summer...Current Udupi Water supply was designed during Dr Acharya's Municipal Presidency time....1968-1972....
