Mangaluru: Unaccounted cash of Rs 1 crore recovered from Bengaluru man

Mangaluru, May 17: During the morning rounds by the personnel of the city (north) police station here, a sum of Rs 1 crore which was found to be in the possession of Manjunath (56) from Malleshwaram Bengaluru, was confiscated. The man failed to provide documentary support for carrying so much cash. He could not even give any satisfactory explanation.

Manjunath was caught from car street here after he arrived from Bengaluru on Friday May 17 morning. The police are investigating the matter further.

 

The money in his possession was found to have been securely sealed. Manjunath reportedly said during the questioning that he was not aware that the parcel he was carrying contained cash.

    when e see this ,one thing is sure .Black money is not completely demonetized..Is still there.so if anyone still have crores of Rupees ,get together and lift up the Jet airways out of its problems.

    now at least people with a little commona sense should know that demonetization did not help in anyway to take out black money from the market.
    It just helped BJP to convert their black money and put all other political parties in the dock as they could not convert their black money.
    This kutanti daku and chaiwala are the maha chors this country has ever seen. Hope these crooks will be booted out on 23rd and India will be free again!!!

    Your befitting and apt reply is worth "Million Dollars". The BJP did this in the guise of Kashmiri unrest and money is coming from out of country. The factual reason of DEMO by NAMO and DAAKHU Omit Shah was to break the knuckles of all oppostion parties who are against BJP. What a mastermind idea by two thugs of Gujarath by bypassing 2 intelligent RBI Governors of Modern India!!!
