Micromax refreshes its budget line-up in India


New Delhi, May 17 (IANS): Micromax Informatics on Friday launched its budget #iOne smartphone with notch display in India for Rs 4,999.

Targeted towards new-age consumers, the device comes with 19:9 screen, a 2200mAh battery and a 5MP+5MP dual rear camera with over nine shooting modes.

"Our newest #iOne Notch Display hosts a 19:9 screen that ensures more content is displayed without the edges being cut," Sunil Joon, Head Strategy, Micromax Informatics Ltd, said in a statement.

The Micromax #iOne is the first UNISOC SC9863 octacore chipset-powered smartphone in India.

The device sports 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, with support for 128GB memory card.

The smartphone runs Android Pie operating system (OS).
