Amit Shah offers prayers at Somnath Temple


New Delhi, May 18 (IANS): A day after campaigning ended for the last phase of Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah on Saturday offered prayers at the Somnath Temple in Gujarat.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at the Kedarnath shrine nestled in Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand.

Polling for the seventh and last phase of Lok Sabha elections will take place on Sunday. Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
