Narendra Modi unanimously elected leader of BJP and NDA parliamentary party

New Delhi, May 25 (IANS): Narendra Modi was elected the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parliamentary party at a function in Central Hall of Parliament on Saturday.

"I am happy to announce that the BJP parliamentary party has unanimously elected Narendra Modi as its leader," BJP President Amit Shah announced.

Veteran Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal moved the resolution to elect Modi as the leader of the NDA parliamentary party.

The resolution was supported by Janata Dal-United (JD-U) President and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and other leaders of the NDA.

"Modiji has been unanimously elected leader by the 353 NDA members. I thank all the newly elected members and congratulate Narendra Modi for his election," Shah said.

After being elected leader of the NDA, Modi touched the feet of BJP veterans L.K. Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi and Parkash Singh Badal and sought their blessings.

Chief Ministers of various NDA-ruled states were present among others.

    Modiji,

    Give Clean and Corruption free administration for next 5 years...no more 'Rafale type' deals moving forward please ( which you have to defend every day unnecessarily wasting your energy!!!) ...Ensure everybody pay their taxes correctly, including major Industrialists like Ambani and Adani included... make India a strong and 'First World ' Country by 2024...

    Bring back all corruption money stolen by earlier ruling party politicians...If you need to suspend 'Fundamental rights' of few Corrupt politicians, SO BE IT...start this on first day of your second innings...not during election campaign of 2024!!!....

    Last but not least....Don't give promises which you know you cannot keep...

    Good luck and Jai Hind ( Hind means India in Arabic, not religion- Hindi means , Indian not language again in Arabic!!!!)....

    You can predict by the track record of his MPs and MLAs he has chosen for clean and corruption free administration like Pragya, Nalin Kumar, Shobha likewise so many.
