New Delhi, May 26: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has registered a thumping victory in the recently concluded parliamentary elections and as Naredra Modi is set to become the Prime Minister for a second term, a family at Gonda in Uttar Pradesh has decided to name their new born child after the PM.

According to a report mother Menaj Begum and her husband has decided to name their son born on May 23 as Narendra Modi. Menaj Begum was so impressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's victory in the elections that she decided to name her newborn after the latter.

Menaj’s husband Mushtaq Ahmed is working in a Gulf country. After they were blessed with a baby boy, she had called her husband and told him that Modi has won the elections and it was decided - the name of the baby boy will be Narendra Modi.

As per DH news service, Menaj said that she had submitted an affidavit to this effect with the district magistrate's office intimating about the name of the child. The name of the newborn would soon be included in the family register, officials said in Gonda.
