Mangaluru, May 30: A flower vendor who is doing his business near City Centre Mall in Mangaluru, distributed free jasmine flowers on Thursday, May 30, to celebrate the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India for the second term.

Fakirabba who has been selling flowers from many years in the city distributed four hundred balls of jasmine (Mallige Chendu) to women and showered praises on Narendra Modi and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

Fakirabba told media, “In his first tenure itself, Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed his skills in administration and his tenure benefited our country as well as our universe. His developmental projects and administrative decisions helped middle class people like me. He never indulged in corruption or entertained it. I am very happy to see him as a Prime Minister of India for the second time. Definitely in the upcoming years he will lead India into becoming a superpower.

“Meanwhile, I congratulate Nalin Kumar Kateel who has been elected from district for the third time. His victory proves that people of the district have accepted him and noticed his contribution,” he added.

Earlier, a bus conductor who works in a bus named 'Kotian' which plies between Moodbidri, Kinnigoli, Haleangady, Surathkal and Mangaluru, offered passengers free ride in his bus to celebrate Modi’s swearing- in ceremony. Few auto drivers also gave passengers free ride. It is also reported that in many areas of the city, the shop owners distributed sweets and cool drinks in connection with Modi’s swearing-in ceremony.

Citizens need good governance more than anything. If not luxuries atleast basic needs like food, clothing, shelter, education, medical aid, jobs should be sufficient.

When something is free there are no buyers but only takers. This what happened here in many cases. Free flowers, free bus, rickshaw, taxi rides and What not.

This is just gimmick. The rate of jasmine has gone down. It is impossible for the vendor to give it free.
I have mentioned this yesterday also that this is a big game.
balatkaris have entered into contract, by threat or throwing more money, with people in the lower rung of the society and are getting these things done.
Gullible public of the country, which sells their votes for meagre money or liquor is just enjoying without knowing the deeper hands which are controlling these bhagyas.

This is not at all free. Someone has paid and told him to distribute that's it. Why Master Flowers will give for free. It is not grown in his nursery he buys it from the grower. So how can he give for free. No one will give for free nowadays. Just imagine 400 rolls of Jasmine. For free Impossible

Please do not understand common man. Some common people have large heart than the few rich.

Do not do guess work. If you have the facts comment. Otherwise you will be insulting the person who did this.
