Bengaluru: Minister Sadananda Gowda says Center will not impose Hindi

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Jun 3: D V Sadananda Gowda, union minister for chemicals and fertilizers, gave a clarification with regards to the imposition of Hindi by the Central government in non-Hindi speaking states, including Karnataka.

Minister Gowda said, "Final decision is not yet taken on the National Education Policy of 2019. There will be no compulsion of Hindi. It is made very clear by the Prime Minister himself that regional languages and issues will get more priority,"

When questioned on southern states, including Karnataka, vehemently opposing the proposed policy, Gowda said that it is not correct to criticize the Central government without any reason. He further said that it is being done just to get political mileage.

"BJP will not try to bring down the Congress-JD (S) coalition government in Karnataka. The party will find some plan if the coalition government falls on its own," added Gowda when the media persons questioned him on the probability of BJP forming the government in the state.

When the press questioned about his earlier statement that chief minister Kumaraswamy will resign within 24 hours of declaring of Lok Sabha poll results, Sadananda Gowda replied, "In fact, the chief minister had planned to quit, but he was prevented from doing so."

Honable minister DVS led a series of protests to create a separate Mangalore railway division, has failed to fulfill the long-pending demand of coastal Karnataka, despite heading the railway ministry that time. This only shows the change of attitude with the change of position. you brought this issue in 2013 time frame. Still you could not start your dream project.

The Centre did not have a choice in the matter. People of India have rejected RSS' "one nation, one language, one culture".

Chemicals & Fertilizers have been set right completely since last 5 years, what with neem coating and ensuring urea goes to farmers only and not Congress-promoted factories alongwith subsidy.
Mr Gowda is taking care of other things also as a honest well wisher.
