Mangaluru: Khader rubbishes allegations in land allotment to JSW Steel

Mangaluru, Jun 4: District in-charge minister U T Khader rubbished allegations made by MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, who had urged government to withdraw its decision on selling 3,666 acres of land at a ‘cheap price’ to the JSW Steel Company in Ballari.

Addressing media here on Tuesday, June 4, U T Khader said, "MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary lacks information about the deal and the allegation he made is false. It is better to gather information before commenting on the issue. In 2005, the then cabinet finalized a deal of lease cum sale and the price was fixed at Rs 90,000 per acre and the process was continued. We have not sold the land for a less price and gone according to the industrial policy.”

New software to be introduced

Khader revealed that new software will be launched by chief minister H D Kumaraswamy on June 11 for the approval of building plan and other matters of land and layout. This system will be easier, faster and more convenient to the people and there will be no scope for brokers.

New policy for frequency towers

"A new policy has been introduced for the installation of frequency towers. Earlier there was no proper policy for the mobile towers. For the installation of new towers, the company should register in the local body by paying a fee. As per policy, towers should not be installed close to religious centres, schools and hospitals. The existing towers close to religious centres, schools and hospitals are given three months time, before that they need to rectify or else its licence will be cancelled," informed Khader.

Meeting on Thokkottu flyover and underpass

“A meeting will be held with MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, deputy commissioner Sasikanth Senthil to come up with a solution for the problems faced by people near Thokkottu flyover. The unscientific flyover has become a cause for accidents. Also, issues regarding Ujjodi underpass which is of no use will be discussed,” said Khader.

What's surprising in that ? UTK is not talking about today's rate, he is talking about something that was agreed upon before 14 years. That time your cent may not have costed 1L

Since Modi came to power, Ramdev's company has received more than an estimated $46 million in discounts for land acquisitions in states controlled by the BJP, according to a Reuters review of state government documents, interviews with officials and real estate estimates. It gained access to other land free of charge. The firm, Patanjali, has also received something of an official imprimatur from a newly created ministry and BJP leaders.

Jennifer, do you have any idea ??? how many cents are there in an acre, please talk about only the subjects that you are good in, even if 14 years back, an acre of land was not as cheap as 90,000/- ....
Your secular spectacles would not see anything of such kind .....
