Mumbai, Apr 29: The metro-based International India Trade Centre (IITC) will be presenting ‘Fashion Show – 2009’ at Hotel Leela Kempinsky Ball room, Andheri (East) here on Sunday May 3, said IITC director Vikrant Urwal.
Addressing the media persons at their office, here on Monday April 27, Vikrant Urwal further said that the first stage of the Fashion Show will begin with Cat Walk on Sunday May 3 morning, while the second stage, walking on the ramp, will be held at 3.00 pm on Sunday.
Bollywood actors will be present at the Fashion Show, to extend support and encourage the talented models and fashion designers.

Over 300 students from various branches of IITC in the metro will walk the ramp with their chosen fashion designer wear. It will be the first such experiment in the country and also the first national show in the world. The show was conceptualized, in order to carve an excellent future and boost self confidence of the students through positive inputs.
IITC offers Indian models, an opportunity to excel in the international arena, by organizing fashion shows, fashion workshops in traditional costumes and ethnic dresses. The show is being organized, backed by the proven capability of IITC founder S K Urwal.
IITC was set up in 1966 by entrepreneur S K Urwal, with the farsighted vision of providing vocational studies besides to shape creative pesonality. It has 13 branches across the country including eight in the metro. It has innovated fashion technology in India.
IITC founder S K Urwal is a native of Beltangady in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka. He has been a professional fashion designer since the past four and a half decades. IITC is the leading vocational study institute in the country.
