Mangaluru, Jun 7: Joseph D'Souza (67), a resident of Padavinangady in the city, who had gone missing a week ago, was traced in Karwar.
After reading the missing news in a daily newspaper, a man from Karwar identified Joseph who was wandering lonely near Karwar bus station. Immediately, he informed the local police and at the time of interrogation Joseph revealed his identity. As per information received from Joseph, police contacted Vamanjoor police station and the police personnel of Vamanjoor station brought him back and handed him over to his family members.
It is learnt that depression after retirement made him leave his house.
Joseph was working with Universal Security Service since a week and had left his home at 5.45 pm on May 29 to attend his work at Greenfield Apartments at Falnir in the city. He then did not return home.
Thelma, daughter of Joseph and family members thanked the media and police department for helping to trace Joseph.
