Dharwad: People who eliminated Kalburgi practised firing in Dakshina Kannada forest

Daijiworld Media Network - Dharwad (SP)

Dharwad, Jun 8: The special investigation team (SIT) which is probing the killing of rationalist, Prof M M Kalburgi, has come to the conclusion that the perpetrators of his killing had trained for over 15 days inside the forest area between Mangaluru and Dharmasthala. The sources also said that the suspects were led to the spot inside the forest where some important evidence was found.

It is said that Praveen Chatur, one of the suspects in the case who was arrested from Hubballi on May 31, gave information to the officials of the team that after Ganesh Miskin fired at Kalburgi, both of them rode on a bike to Kittur and then to Mumbai. The bike they used was a stolen one, and a person named Vasudev Suryavamshi had helped in procuring this bike, the investigation has revealed. The bike owner had filed a complaint of theft in Hubballi.

Vasudev reportedly is an accomplice of Amol Kale, believed to be the brain behind this attack. The stolen bike was initially kept in Miskin's house and then the culprits rode on it and reached the residence of Prof Kalburgi at Kalyan Nagar. The special investigation officials would be here for two days for taking the suspects around and recording their statements.

M M Kalburgi, former vice chancellor of Hampi University, who was a well-known scholar and rationalist, had been shot dead during the day at his residence here on August 30, 2015.

I always have a doubt, why allways rationalists in India are against Sanathana Dharma not others ???

Every one should respect the rule of the land, even in India who follow other religions all most all of their ancestors were belonged to Sanathana Dharma, so at for the sake of their ancestors they should respect.

The constitution is the law of the land, not Sanathana Dharma. It is shocking that people are defending the views of the murderers of Kalburgi, Dabholkar, Pansare and Gauri.

When Home Minister of the newly appointed government under PM Modi who himself jailed for three months and barred from entering Gujarat by the High Court and carries more than 12 fake encounter cases in his name firing in Dakshina Kannada forest or electing terror parliament hardly matter for national security.

In a startling revelation, a former police officer investigating the role of Sanatan Sanstha in the Margao bomb blasts case has said that journalist Gauri Lankesh would have been alive if the state’s BJP-led government led by late Manohar Parikar government had acted on his advice to ban the organization.

The PM Modi led BJP's central government earlier informed the Bombay High Court that till date it has not found any satisfactory material to declare right-wing organization Sanatan Sanstha as a “terror outfit” under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and ban it.

The CBI earlier had arrested a senior functionary of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janjagriti Samiti in connection with the murder of Narendra Dabholkar.

Just as Osama hid in the impregnable mountains of Afghanistan, the likes of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur will hide behind the fig leaf of the democratic ‘will of the people’.

No nation is either entirely tolerant or wholly wedded to violence. There is no ‘Hindu Terrorism’. But there is something called Sangh Parivar terrorism exists as long as open support given by the Central government of BJP in the ruling.
