Property dealer shot dead in Delhi

New Delhi, Jun 14: A Vikaspuri resident was shot dead by some miscreants outside his house in the wee hours of Friday and he has been identified as Amit Kochhar, a property dealer. It is said that the 35-year-old man mistook the goons to be a food delivery boy and opened the door.

As per sources, Amit and his friends were at home on Thursday night, while his wife was at work. They had ordered food online and when the doorbell rang after some time, Amit opened the door, he was dragged outside his house, pushed inside a car and shot dead.

As per ANI source, Amit's friends were sitting inside the house when he was murdered. They rushed outside after they heard the gunshots and found Amit laying unconscious on the ground. Though they rushed him to DDU hospital, doctors declared him dead.

The police have collected CCTV footages and Amit's friends and relatives are being questioned.

Police are investigating the matter and the reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
