VHP appeals to CJI, Government to pave way for temple in Ayodhya

New Delhi, Jun 20 (IANS): With the Ayodhya issue in the supreme Court-monitored mediation mode, the Vishva Hindu Parishad on Thursday urged the Chief Justice and the government to press hard on removing hindrances delaying the construction of the grand Ram temple. The mediation will conclude on August 15.

Passing a resolution on the temple at the Kendriya Marg Darshak Mandal meet in Haridwar, the VHP said: "The saints of the country appeal to the government to remove all obstacles in the path so that a grand temple in Ayodhya be built soon according to the wishes of crores of Hindus."

Recognizing that government alone could not fulfil its demands, the saint fraternity has pointed out that "it will not be right even on the part of the judiciary to turn away from its responsibility."

On May 10, a five-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi extended the mediation on the matter till August 15, observing "we do not want to short-circuit the ongoing mediation process. We will extend the time in order to enable the committee to complete the task assigned to it."

The court also expressed its satisfaction on the mediation process so far. The panel of mediators comprises Justice F.M.I. Kalifulla, former apex court judge, as Chairman; spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and senior advocate Sriram Panchu, known for alternative dispute resolution.

"We call upon the Chief Justice of India to make a decision by completing the hearing on the matter at the earliest", said the VHP statement.

Alok Kumar, VHP's Working President, made it clear that his organisation will not wait "indefinitely" on Ram temple construction.

"One thing is clear: VHP will not compromise on two issues - first, only a temple will be built at the birthplace of Lord Ram and; second, there can be no mosque within the cultural limits of Ayodhya," he told IANS.

The so-called representation of Hindus Vishwa Hindu Parishad is least bothered about the BJP ruled state of Bihar in which more than 150 children are dead due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES).

A disaster of Health and Education in Bihar. CM has time to visit Iftar party but it took 17 days for him to visit the Hospital. No water to drink in Hospitals. No Research yet on the unknown Disease. No beds in the Hospitals. Children dying for the last 10 years.

Shameless Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi (Bihar Deputy Chief Minister). children are dying (sic) due to non-availability of proper medical care and medicine. Bihar govt officials have time for enjoying the party and world cup cricket.
It's terrible to see that 4 kids in one bed, lying on the floor and affected by horror disease. Heat & Humidity rising day by day in Bihar. The tenth budget of Bihar for the fiscal year 2019-2020. Allocation of health has been increased to Rs 9,622.76 crore. Still, the conditions of the hospital and the whole system is in ICU.
Public wants to know where this money is going?
VHP instead of thinking about parents & families suffering in this critical time wants the temple in Ayodhya instead of the basic health care system.
Will Lord Ram will be pleased the grand temple if the children of 'Bharat Mata' murdered due to negligence in the health care system?

Before constructing a temple first let all saints present there answer
    1. Why they demolished Babri masjid?.
    2. Still more than 25 years they could not come up with a solid proof of pre existence of a temple in that same site?..
    3. So, where is the question about building that so called Ram Mandir at the same site?
It's time now for them to apologize and re build Babri masjid there.
