Goa Government issues circular, asks schools to discourage students from using Tik Tok, PUBG

Panaji, Jun 21: The education department of Goa government has issued circular to all schools in the state, asking them to discourage students from downloading popular video-sharing app Tik Tok and combat game PUBG on their mobile phones.

The circular, signed by Director of Education (DoE) Nagaraj Honnekeri, states 'action in time may be of great help in saving some lives'.

The directions were issued following recommendations of the Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights. The circular also said schools should call Parents Teachers Association (PTA) meeting to create awareness about 'not to download or use Tik Tok app and PUBG game'.

'The app and the game create issue of safety and security of children in Goa', the circular added.
