Bengaluru, Jul 4: MLA of Sakleshpur H K Kumaraswamy was appointed as the president of Karnataka state unit of JD(S). Madhu Bangarappa is appointed as the executive president.
At the same time, other office bearers of the party were also appointed.
Former minister N M Nabi, MLA K Gopalaiah and R Manjunath were appointed as senior vice-presidents. Former MLA Suresh Babu was appointed as president of Booth committee and Nasir Bagawan was appointed as the president of minority unit.
Nikil Kumaraswamy was appointed as the president of youth wing of state JD(S), while Noor Ahmed was appointed as the executive president of the youth wing. Sharanagowda Kandakoor was appointed as the principal chief secretary of the party.
