'Hanuman Chalisa' recited on UP road to oppose 'namaaz' on streets

Hathras (Uttar Pradesh), Jul 17 (IANS): Activists of religious group Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV) have registered their opposition to offering 'namaaz' on the streets by reciting "Hanuman Chalisa" on the road in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras.

According to reports, a group of HYV activists sat outside a Hanuman temple in Sikandrarau area and recited the "Hanuman Chalisa" repeatedly for over an hour on Tuesday evening.

The HYV men said that they would continue to hold recitation of "Hanuman Chalisa" every Tuesday till the Muslims stopped offering 'namaaz' on the roads.

Ravindra Kumar Singh, a HYV activist, said that by offering 'namaaz' on the roads on Fridays, Muslims were causing inconvenience to the people since roads remained blocked.

"If they stop this practice, we will also stop otherwise we will make sure that 'Hanuman Chalisa' is recited outside each Hanuman temple on Tuesdays," he said.

The police was silent on the issue. A senior police official said, "There is no complaint and no trouble so our role does not figure in the matter."

This distortion and pollution of a venerable religion is both heartbreaking and nauseating. It is also pointless. Namaaz has been performed for centuries and is an accepted practice which has not brought harm to anyone. What is the point of making a competition out of worship? This is not "activism". It is hate-induced insanity. Dirty politics globally destroyed us

Blocking the roads, causing inconvenience to other commuters is not at all acceptable.
Praying is not a sin. But, cause trouble to others is. Islam forbids troubling others.

Please evaluate and try to know why do they pray on Roads?
it's because Muslim's doesn't have sufficient mosques (population ratio wise) to perform their religious duties. Let government help muslims by constructing couple of Masjids wherever required. This problem will be automatically solved.
Secondly you said praying on Road during Fridays cause inconvenience to public, that's true, but inconvenience caused during Hindu festivals too, During Ganapati,, Navaratri, etc...
From hundreds of years we used to tolerate each other , there was no such issue. But ONLY WHY NOW?

    Samad,
The problem is there is a FIROUN, but no Moosa or Moses, pbuh!!!
If at all Muslim follow the path shown by Allah and his prophet, then NO ONE over this world can harm Muslims. Unfortunately we give example of Firoun, but no one try to become like Moosa/Moses pbuh!

i have seen people constructing luxurious Mosques, spending crores and crores but they do not bothered to feed the hungry and poor residing surrounding that luxurious mosque. Spending crores and crores for marriages, but do not give a penny to poor. This is not Islam.

According to Islam (1) take care of your parents (2) self and family (3) poor relatives (4) poor neighbours ( irrespective of faith) (5) fe sabeelillah ( constructing mosques etc.)
