I am a keralite who travels frequently to Moodbodri. What surprises me is the zig zag pattern of the roads of these places. These roads have been constructed as if there is something wrong if they are made without bends and curves. What is urgently needed is to straighten these roads to the maximum extent possible.

Rightly said. Very dangerous road to drive. and very narrow..Heavy vehicles obstruct the overtaking even... It needs to be broadened rather than straightened. we see some houses and shops attached to the roads...

Competition between rival companies and recklessly overtaking any vehicle ahead of them.
Even in the cities such competition in prevalent and to add to the misery of commuters there are no proper foot paths to exercise caution. These express busses virtually fly at high speed.

Nobody can improve these DK and Udupi bus drivers. There's no punishment like in Gulf countries. The owners are comming to protect the drivers. That's why drivers are rash . Secondly the bus owners demanding more collection . That may be a reason. Buses are more and passengers are less. That race may be a reason.

Buses enroute Mangalore-Bidra and Karla Express always been packed with standing passengers that too through most of narrow single road with excessive curves. Drivers need extra care especially in rainy season.

To someone's mistake other's want to bear the cost. Better reserve ladies seat in last three rows. Our hero bus driver's much focus on rare view mirror rather than on road. Are expert in doing stunts by wearing duplicate road side police brand glasses.
