Jabalpur, Jul 31: Zomato is renowned in the world of online food delivery, the app provides reviews on restaurants, including images of menus where a restaurant does not have its own website. On Tuesday an incident took place where a man tweeted about cancelling his order placed with Zomato as he was assigned a 'non-Hindu' delivery boy. The bigotry displayed by the customer did not go down well with Zomato and they tweeted back in response which also followed a tweet from the founder Deepinder Goyal.
Zomato's response to the customer's complaint went viral, with several twitteratis commending the company for its values.

The customer has been identified Amit Shukla, from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, who also attached screenshots of the chat on his twitter. "Just cancelled an order on @ZomatoIN, They allocated a non-Hindu rider for my food they said they can't change rider and can't refund on cancellation." Shukla tweeted
Further, he also said that he would go down the legal road if he is not refunded the amount he paid for the order he cancelled.
