ETPB to give scholarships to minority students in Pakistan


Lahore, Jul 31 (IANS): The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) announced scholarships for outstanding minority students here on Wednesday, reported The Nation.

The ETPB has announced to give Rs 10,000 as 'Guru Nanak Scholarship' to outstanding students from Sikh and Hindu universities. The announcement came at a time when Pakistan is nearing completion of the Kartarpur Corridor.

Students have been asked to submit their forms to the Pakistan Model Educational Foundation Secretary before August 31. The forms are available on the ETPB website.

National Commission for Minorities member Ramesh Singh Arora and Hindu leader Arun Kumar Kundani praised the initiative.

Another Hindu leader Amar Nath Randhwana welcomed the initiative and said that this would help the youth to play their part in nation building.
