Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Aug 1: The police personnel who conducted an operation, stopped a tipper truck that was carrying stolen cows towards Addur from the direction of Moodbidri on the night of Tuesday July 30. They rescued the animals.

At around 8.50 pm on Tuesday, a tipper truck was found being driven at high speed near Ganjimutt. The police signalled the truck to stop. Immediately those inside the truck stopped the vehicle near the Raj Academy School at Ganjimath and tried to flee. Out of four persons who were running away, the police successfully chased down Abdul Rahiman (42) from Kuchchegudde House in Addur, and Usman (46) residing near Badriya mosque at Addur.

A check of the truck revealed that 18 stolen cows were tethered inside the vehicle in a violent manner. A case in this connection stands filed in Bajpe police station. The police said that the value of the things seized including the animals and tipper truck has been put at five lac rupees.

Thanks for saying Islam as a peace religion. Bro, You are welcome to peace religion at any time. Let's work together to eradicate this menace. I believe the cause for theft might be unemployment and policies of central and State govt bill making beef illegal.

Also find out how many truckload with cattles from that junction. We even cannot trust police personnels. For small amount they even pass trucks and held one at end for sake of record. These people are active next three weeks..our viglant team keep watch everywhere. If find any suspicious apprehned them immediately without giving any notice.

We all know that few weeks back the police had warned cattle traffickers who were caught by police and warned them strictly.. But still these traffickers *non human* never learn.. What to do ?

No freedom for Cows & Girls..

Cattle trafficking is same as Human trafficking where these thieves are not human.
