Bantwal: Senior Muslim cleric succumbs to road accident injuries

Bantwal, Aug 2: A senior Muslim cleric who was injured in a road accident succumbed to the injuries at the hospital on Thursday, August 1. 

Revered Muslim scholar Ustaad Yousuf Haji, a resident of Addoor, is the person who died in the hospital in Mangaluru, where he was admitted after he met with an accident. 

Ustaad Yousuf Haji was waiting to cross the road on the evening of Thursday, August 1 near B C Road. A car that was approaching from Kaikamba hit him. He was admitted immediately to a hospital in Thumbay for preliminary treatment and was shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced treatment.

However, according to family sources, he succumbed to his injuries on the night of Thursday itself.
